This project was an initiative of the five western metropolitan councils, sponsored by the Department of Infrastructure and guided by Vic Roads. It is the first of five roadside projects aimed at changing perceptions of Melbourne’s west. The structure is a 2D perspective representation of a dream home. The 3D illusion disappears as the freeway viewer drives by Peter Felicetti was a collaborative partner in the design, providing input and advice with regards to the structural system to support the stencilled image of the house.
