The 8.2m resin Sculpture Apostle No. 2 2011. as on display at Federation Square and has won a 2011 Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture. Greener, from Caulfield South, and Maddock decided to “rebuild” the fallen 12th apostle from western Victoria’s rugged coastline. The work is lit at night to enhance its translucent, ghostly qualities.The rock-like formation leaves the public querying whether it is natural or man made.
