An adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s story, where Max, a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world–a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler. Felicetti provided Construction Engineering design and Supervision services.  We undertook computer modelling analysis and design of the large fort structure based at the Hillside quarry site. Worked closely with the Art Department to ensure a structural design that avoided obstructing camera viewing lines, which lead to the adoption of a series of cantilevered timber frames. Provided construction design certification of the various studio based sets.
