A new $7million museum dedicated to the Victorian Racing Industry, covering all aspects of the industry from history to interactive displays. The museum is located in the South Commercial building of the Federation Square complex. Due to the irregular geometry of the existing building, innovative structural engineering design was required to integrate the new fitout into the existing space. In particular the new stair and escalator. The project won a Victorian Interior Design Institute award in 2005.
