Shelter 101 evokes the tradition of the aboriginal bark shelter. Shelter 101 is a fusion between public art and architecture, providing a temporary dwelling that is flexible, stimulating, and playful.

The project was one of a selected shortlist of temporary dwellings. which were erected on a site on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.

Felicetti provided structural design and construction advice.
