BERRY NEW SOUTH WALES
| Architects | Jonathan Sarfaty and Warren McVean (Studio 35) |
| Structural Engineers | Felicetti |
| Year | 1991 |
New 6 bedroom, eclectic holiday house, pool and croquet lawn on a ridge above the Berry township. The master bedroom is topped by a rotating observatory turret, and the living room walls consist of vertically folding airport doors.
Due to the complex geometries involved in the project, Felicetti designed the structural system in steel framing. The accuracy of the framing setout and speed of erection were essential in achieving a quality result.
A feature of the project was the concrete fire place which weighed in excess of 1000kg, suspended from the roof by a series of randomly arranged thin rods.
