The site consists of 47 hectares of flat reclaimed land. A new exhibition centre designed by a Canadian architectural group is the central focus of the site. Urban strategies for the site and the remaining building programs were awarded to Brearley Middleton to design. The brief consisted of; public square for 50,000 people, a business and conference centre each of 5100m2, a 300 room 5 star hotel, observation tower and a car park for 1200 cars.

Being the principal structural design engineer for the project, Felicetti was responsible for all aspects of the design from the various landscaping elements, to civil structures, towers and buildings. Work was undertaken to Design Development stage, and liaison/briefing of the local Chinese engineer who completed detail design.
